Closing this as it has been awhile since there has been any interest. I want to thank the folks who supported my little endeavor. Although it is not a lot, we raised $60 that otherwise never would have been - that is pretty cool :-)

Doodles mailed out

Last week I sent off those two doodles, one to Austin and the other to Houston. Unfortunately, in my haste to get them mailed off I once again forgot to get a picture of them for the record. This time around I felt like being a little more creative than the standard doodle might require and used some water color pencils. It reminded me of those old water color paint books you could get as a kid where all you had to do was paint with water to "activate" the dry paint color printed on the page.

Wow! Howdy folks...

I've been terrible this past week and not posted. Lots of crazy stuff going on, but FINALLY have my self back together in some semblence of functional something-or-otherness.

I've got two doodles to mail out to two patient and trusting souls. Thank you so much for contributing to the Doodle Experiment, and for believing in someone you don't really know.

Shhhhhhhh....

Things have been a little quiet here in the doodle experiment blog. I was feeling a little self-doubt about the whole thing - after all it is kind of odd.

But then I received an email notification Saturday that someone had contributed. I won't mention your name unless you think it is okay... I sure do thank you for helping out.

I've tried to keep the transaction activity out in the open just so folks know I'm being honest... I'm afraid in the last couple emails I have exchanged I miscalculated the total ( I never was good with math!)

So for the record, to date, 11 people have contributed. One of the eleven sent $20 instead of $5.
In order to try and keep the numbers even, I have made up the difference of what Paypal deducts for the transaction. So the grand total raised so far is $70.

Banana Moon Doodle

This one turned out kinda crazy - being that I just kinda whim-it with doodles.

Turns out, unbeknownst to me, about the time i was doodling this one, the recipients had a somewhat heated discussion over a store-front sign... a disagreement over whether or not something looked like a banana or a moon.

Cool!

Austin has been doodled again ;-)

I've been neglectful about posting updates... sent a doodle out at the end of last week to a lovely lady-Bean! Thank you bunches Bean.

And my sister (god bless your pea-picken heart!) sent me a great card along with a sizeable donation - Thank you! I feel an overwhelming urge to doodle something with bulldawgs, hmmm.... ;-)
